The Theological Institute for Priests offers continuing education programs for priests, providing opportunities for learning and reflection. Programs are open to priests only, and interaction between lecturer and audience, as well as the benefits of fraternal gathering, are a strong aspect of the Institute. Presentations are designed to provide priests with an introduction to important topics, and resources for further study.

How to Celebrate the Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form
July 7-9, 2008
Presenters: Msgr. Charles Sangermano and Msgr. Michael Magee
In response to our Holy Father’s recent motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum,Msgr. Charles Sangermano and Msgr. Michael Magee will present a three-day program on How to Celebrate the Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form, July 7-9, with a morning and afternoon session each day. This workshop will comprise an introductory theological overview of this form of the Liturgy and a practicum.
Cost: $300.00 (includes materials and lunch)
Room and Board are available at a rate of $58.00 per day.

Saint Paul’s Message to the Present Age

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary
In celebration of the Year of Saint Paul, Rev. Patrick J. Brady will present a one-day workshop on Saint Paul’s Message to the Present Age, July 15, 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
This workshop seeks to make Paul accessible to the present age by examining the themes that connect his various letters. The first session will examine Paul in light of his Jewish background. The second session will explore specific Pauline texts that are viewed as "problematic" to contemporary audiences.
