The Undergraduate Program of the Religious Studies Division offers non-degree certificate programs in Catholic Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry to African-American Catholics, Liturgical Studies, Youth Ministry, and the Roman Catechetical Diploma from the Congregation for the Clergy. Courses are offered in cooperation with the Office of Catholic Education, the Office for Black Catholics, the Office for Worship, and the Office for Youth and Young Adults.
The undergraduate courses offered in the Religious Studies Division are worth three college credits, and may be transferable to other academic institutions. All courses may be taken for either credit or audit.
Many undergraduate courses fulfill requirements for multiple certificates. Students may apply a maximum of six credits to two certificate programs. Up to six credits earned toward one certificate may be applied to one other certificate with no more than six credits per student being applied to multiple certificates. Credits transferred from other institutions can be applied to only one certificate.
